Do you love Japan so much?
But you couldn't visit ENNICHISAI 2015
Don't worry みんなさん!
Here is my quick event report about it just for you >v<

Hey guys...
I'm back again :>
Today i just wanna post a quick report about Little Tokyo ENNICHISAI 2015 Blok M  >_<

For all of you who doesn't know about ENNICHISAI, here is some info about this event that i found in their official website http://www.ennichisaiblokm.com/ :
Little Tokyo Ennichisai Blok M is an annual Japanese art and culinary festival held at Blok M, South Jakarta, since 2010.
The two-day festival will take place on May 09 & 10.
This festival, organized by Blok M Estate Management and Ennichisai Blok M Team, attracts up to 200,000 visitors each year and has been one of the tourism agenda of Jakarta.  The whole area will be covered with Chochin (Japanese lampion) and have 150 booths providing Japanese foods and goods, creating a matsuri atmosphere in the area.
Traditional art performances such as omikoshi, taiko and Japanese traditional dances will enliven this festival.
Aside from the traditional ones, visitors will also be entertained by a series of Japanese Pop Culture events and performances.
(Ps:For more information just visit the website, this event is free)

Well, last Saturday (9 May 2015) me and my sister went to ENNICHISAI at Blok M Jakarta
(Ps: We initially wanted to go to a dog show at Central Park Mall but due to several circumtances in the end we decided to go to ENNICHISAI)

There are a lot of stalls that sell Japanese stuff from Cosmetics, Anime, Manga, Japanese Traditional stuff (Katana, etc) also Food (like Takoyaki, Okonomiyaki, etc) and Beverages (dessert and beer) ♬

We were hunting for some traditional Japanese food and beverages there♬

We bought Kakigōri (かき氷) Japanese "summer" dessert :>
it's simply just shaved ice with sweet syrup and sweetened condensed milk
Really refreshing in hot humid weather :D
My sister bought the orange flavour :)
I didn't know what flavour that i bought i just said i wanted the pink one, but it tasted delicious too

Next, we bought Taiyaki (鯛焼き)
it's a Japanese traditional fish-shaped cake with red bean paste filling :D (Ps: They sold taiyaki with cheese filling too)
 The stall name is "Kitchen18"

i think this Taiyaki made from pancake-like batter :>

(Price: Rp15K each)

Then, we bought this
Ikayaki (いか焼き) or grilled squid topped with soy sauce
This one also a typical "summer-matsuri'" food :)
 Sizzle.... Sizzle... kkkk

Large and delicious Japanese style grilled squid :)
(price: Rp25K each)

There were a lot of cosplayers there too

We also saw
Mikoshi (神輿) and Dashi (山車) parade♬

it's a common parade during Summer Festival or matsuri in Japan

Mikoshi (神輿) serves as the vehicle to transport a deity (spirit of a God) in Japan

Dashi (山車) is a type of portable home for the god
There were children playing Taiko (Traditional Japanese-percussion) inside the Dashi (山車)

There was also a campaign about hygiene (do not litter; say no to littering) by Jakarta Osoji Club♬

Then, this was a stage for japanese pop culture show♬

Big (fake) sakura tree♬
There were a lot of Chōchin (提灯) or Japanese lantern

♬♬♬♬♬♬♬♬♬♬♬

Ok that was my report about  Little Tokyo ENNICHISAI 2015 Blok M
please come and visit  ENNICHISAI next year
see you there
